Hedgehogs Early Years
Hedgehogs Early Years was established by Eve Poynter and Laura Hollands who are passionate about providing children with the very best early years experience. All Hedgehogs settings share the same aspirational curriculum intent for the children in our care :-
'Confident, independent children learning through play, exploring and discovering every day'
Our team of wonderful early years educators lead children to learn by using natural and authentic resources and loose parts in our cozy home from home environments, fostering a sense of awe and wonder, intrigue and discovery.
- Hedgehogs Preschool and Forest School, Hempstead, was founded in 2016, situated in the village hall, children visit the local woodland for daily forest school sessions.
- Later, Hedgehogs Day Nursery, Chatham opened in March 2019 conveniently situated near the bus and train station ideally located for busy working families and commuters.
- Following shortly after, Hedgehogs Day Nursery, Rochester, opened in the summer of 2020 backing on to Jacksons Fields with its expanse of beautiful open green space.
- Hedgehogs Day Nursery, Hoo, opened in February 2023 taking position in the centre of the busy village, welcoming families in this expanding community.
